- 2 c. flour
- 4 Tbsp. cocoa
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/3 c. shortening or oil
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 1/3 c. sour cream
Directions

1Mix together flour, cocoa, salt and baking soda.

2Cream shortening or oil with sugar until fluffy; add eggs and vanilla and beat thoroughly.

3Add dry ingredients and milk alternately in small amounts.

4After each addition mix well.

5Pour into greased pan and bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes.
