  • 2 c. flour
  • 4 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/3 c. shortening or oil
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 1/3 c. sour cream

Directions

    Mix together flour, cocoa, salt and baking soda.

    Cream shortening or oil with sugar until fluffy; add eggs and vanilla and beat thoroughly.

    Add dry ingredients and milk alternately in small amounts.

    After each addition mix well.

    Pour into greased pan and bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes.
