- 5 to 6 onions, sliced
- 4 slices bacon, fried and diced
- 1 can tomato soup
- salt and pepper to taste
- 2 Tbsp. margarine
- 3/4 c. bread crumbs
Directions

1Fry bacon until crisp.

2Pour soup into bacon and fat and stir. Oil dish and pour a little of the ingredients in the bottom, then place onions in dish. Put remaining sauce on onion mixture.

3Top with bread crumbs.

4Brush with margarine before you break into crumbs.

5Put in a dish and bake at 350° for 1 1/2 hours.

6Serve with mashed potatoes, meat and salad.
