  • 8 pork chops, salted and peppered to taste
  • 1/4 c. margarine
  • 1 c. uncooked rice
  • 1/2 c. onion, chopped
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • 1 (15 oz.) can tomatoes, pureed
  • 1 (29 oz.) can tomatoes, pureed
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. green pepper, chopped

Directions

    In large skillet, brown pork chops in margarine.

    Add remaining ingredients in order listed.

    Cover and simmer 1 hour or until rice is done.

    Add water if necessary to keep from sticking.
