- 4 pork chops
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 1/4 c. sliced celery
- 1/4 c. diced onion
- 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1 2/3 c. water
- 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. basil
- 1 c. uncooked rice
Directions

1In large skillet, brown chops in hot oil.

2Remove chops.

3Add celery and onion and cook lightly, about 3 minutes.

4Drain fat. Stir in remaining ingredients; add chops.

5Bring to a boil.

6Lower heat.

7Cover and simmer 30 minutes.
