  • 15 oz. extra lean ground beef or ground turkey
  • 1 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1 1/2 c. diced green pepper
  • 3 c. stewed tomatoes (undrained)
  • 1 c. uncooked brown rice
  • 1 tsp. chili powder
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. salt (optional)
  • 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 1/2 c. fat-skimmed beef broth

Directions

    Cook ground meat, onion and green pepper until meat is brown and vegetables are tender.

    Drain on paper towel.

    Return to skillet; add remaining ingredients and simmer 40 to 45 minutes or until rice is cooked.
