- 1 c. uncooked rice
- 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1/2 c. chopped green pepper
- 3 to 4 oz. cooked hamburger
- 1/2 tsp. chili powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 c. tomatoes, crushed
- 2 c. water
Directions

1Brown rice in hot oil until golden brown.

2Add onion, pepper and hamburger.

3Mix in chili powder and salt, then add tomatoes and water.

4Cover and simmer for 20 to 30 minutes or until rice is fully cooked.
