  • 1/2 lb. bacon ends
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1/2 c. green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 lb. can tomatoes
  • 1 1/2 c. water
  • 3/4 c. uncooked rice
  • 1/2 c. tomato sauce
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce

    Fry bacon ends.

    Saute onion and bell pepper in 3 tablespoons bacon grease in large skillet until tender.

    Add all other ingredients.

    Cook slowly, covered, for approximately 45 minutes. Sprinkle crumbled bacon ends on top and serve.
