- 1 cup long grain rice
- 2 cups water
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 chicken bouillon cubes
- 3 tablespoons tomato sauce
- 1 tablespoon parsley
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons oil
Directions

1Brown the rice and onion in oil, until onion is soft and rice is starting to turn golden over medium heat.

2(If possible, do not use a non-stick pan) Add water, tomato sauce, parsley, bouillon cubes and salt.

3Bring to a boil.

4Cover and simmer on low for 20 minutes.
