  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 14 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 12 cups rice
  • 12 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 12 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup tomato sauce

Directions

    In a large sauce pan, heat oil over medium heat.

    Add dry rice as well as onion and garlic powders and cook for about 5 minutes or until rice becomes a golden brown.

    Add in broth and then tomato sauce slowly to avoid splashing.

    Stir and bring to a boil.

    Once boiling, reduce heat to a simmer for 20-25 minutes (keep pot covered).

    Fluff with a fork, and serve.
