Spanish Rice

  • 3/4 c. rice, dry
  • 2 Tbsp. fat
  • 5 c. water
  • 2 onions
  • 2 c. tomatoes
  • 1/2 c. green pepper
  • salt & pepper
  • hamburger

Directions

    Fry rice in fat until brown, then add water and boil until soft.

    Drain.

    Saute the onions in fat;

    mix with tomatoes and peppers and add to the rice.

    Add seasoning and place in a greased casserole. Bake for 30 minutes at 350°.
