  • 1/2 c. diced white onion
  • 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic
  • 1/4 tsp. paprika
  • 1/4 tsp. dried oregano
  • 1/4 tsp. ground cumin
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 1 large can diced green chiles
  • 1 large can stewed tomatoes
  • 1 c. chicken broth
  • 1 Tbsp. flour

Directions

    Fry the onion in the oil over medium heat for 5 minutes.

    Add the spices; simmer for 3 minutes.

    Add green chiles, stewed tomatoes and chicken broth.

    Bring to a boil.

    Thicken the sauce with the flour, then simmer for 20 more minutes.
