Spanish Style Bell Peppers

- 1 lb. ground beef
- 6 buttons garlic, chopped
- 1 can tomato paste
- 6 medium bell peppers
- 1/2 c. flour
- 2 onions, chopped
- 1 pkg. Mexican cornbread mix
- 1 small bottle chili powder
- Cheddar cheese to garnish
Directions

1Saute in oil, chopped onion and chopped garlic until brown. Add ground meat and fry until done.

2Add 1/2 cup flour and allow to brown.

3Add chili powder and mix with meat.

4Then add tomato paste.

5Add enough water to make mixture sticky.

6Stir well.

7Salt to taste and let simmer for a few minutes until thick.

8Prepare cornbread mix according to directions.

9Bake.

10Add 1/2 of cornbread to meat mixture.

11Stuff peppers with mixture.

12Top with cheese and cook in a 350° oven until peppers are done.
