  • 1 lb. carrots, scraped and diagonally sliced
  • 1/2 c. chopped celery
  • 1/4 c. chopped onion
  • 1/4 c. Chablis or other dry wine
  • 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. dried whole dill weed

    Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan.

    Cover and reduce heat, simmering for 10 to 12 minutes until vegetables are tender.
