Directions

   Combine sugar and syrup, bring just to a boil.

   Remove from heat and add peanut butter.

   Stir in cereal.

   Spread into a 9 x 12-inch greased pan.

   Melt chips together and spread over top of cereal mixture.

   Cool and cut into squares.
