  • 2/3 c. pecans
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 unbaked (9-inch) pie shell

    Combine all ingredients and mix well.

    Put into unbaked pastry shell and bake at 450° for 10 minutes, then reduce temperature and bake at 350° for 30 to 45 minutes.
