- 1 c. sugar
- 2/3 c. shortening
- 1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
- 1/2 c. milk
- 3 eggs
Directions

1Beat eggs, sugar, milk, vanilla and shortening.

2Work in flour like you would for biscuit dough.

3Knead and roll out on floured surface.

4Cut out and bake on cookie sheet for 15 to 20 minutes at 375°.

5Yields 2 dozen cakes.
