- 6 Tbsp. shortening
- 4 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 egg, well beaten
- 7 or more c. sifted flour
- 1 pt. Speed Bake Yeast Ferment
- cinnamon
- sugar
- melted butter
Directions

1In the morning cream together the shortening, sugar and salt. Add beaten egg.

2Sift and measure flour into a mixing bowl.

3Blend in yeast ferment.

4Then add creamed mixture; knead into a smooth dough, not too stiff.

5Let rise until doubled, if desired.

6Knead down and let rise again until doubled.

7Shape into a roll.

8Let rise in an oiled tin until doubled.
