Ingredients: 2 c. granulated sugar; 4 eggs; 2 tsp. baking soda; 2 tsp. allspice; 2 tsp. nutmeg; 2 tsp. ground cinnamon; 1 1/3 c. butter; 1 1/3 c. buttermilk; 3 to 3 1/2 c. all-purpose flour; 1 tsp. vanilla

2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. allspice
2 tsp. nutmeg
2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 1/3 c. butter
1 1/3 c. buttermilk
3 to 3 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream butter and sugar together.

Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition.

In a separate bowl combine buttermilk and baking soda; add to butter and sugar mixture.

Add remaining ingredients, mixing well.

Pour into greased and floured baking pan and bake at 350° for 55 minutes.

Cool cake completely and frost with Brown Sugar Cream Cheese Frosting.
