- 3/4 cup butter
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 each eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 3/4 cups flour, all-purpose
- 1/2 cup pecans ground
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 cup fruit jam
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350F (180C).

2Cream butter and sugar in mixer bowl until light and fluffy.

3Beat in egg and vanilla.

4Add 1/2 of flour; mix well.

5Add remaining flour, nuts and cinnamon; mix well.

6Shape dough into 1 inch balls.

7Place 1 inch apart on unbuttered cookie sheets.

8Lightly press center of each ball with thumb, or the handle of a wooden spoon, leaving cup-like indention.

9Fill each indention with about 1/4 teaspoons jam.

10Bake 18 min.

12Transfer to wire racks; cool completely.
