- 16 c. thick apple pulp
- 3/4 c. vinegar (red cider)
- 8 c. sugar
- 4 tsp. cinnamon
Directions

1Core and slice apples but do not peel.

2Add only enough water to cook apples until soft.

3Press through a sieve and measure. Combine all ingredients.

4Cook until mixture remains in a smooth mass (when a small amount is cooled), about 1 1/2 hours.

5During cooking time, stir frequently to prevent burning.

6Pour into hot sterilized pint jars and seal.

7Makes 8 pints.
