  • 9 medium tomatoes or 1 qt. canned
  • 1 (2 1/2 to 3 lb.) fryer, cut up
  • 2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 c. salad oil
  • 1 c. fresh chopped onion
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 3/4 c. water
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1 chicken flavor bouillon cube
  • 1 (3-inch long) cinnamon stick

Directions

    About 1 hour and 15 minutes before serving, peel, seed and dice 6 tomatoes. Cut 3 tomatoes into wedges; set aside.
