- 1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 1/2 c. water
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 2 c. pecan or walnut halves
Directions

1Scoop out seeds from pumpkin; wash and clean.

2Remove string as best as you can.

3Let soak in salted water overnight (1 1/2 teaspoons salt per 2/3 cup water).

4Drain well.

5Then place seeds on shallow baking pan and place in oven at 300° for approximately 20 minutes or until golden.

6Eat with or without removing the shells.
