  • 2-1/3 cups Water
  • 1/2 cups Molasses
  • 4 cups Buttermilk Pancake Mix (I Use Bisquick)
  • 1 Tablespoon Ground Ginger
  • 1 Tablespoon Ground Cinnamon

  • FOR THE WHIPPED CREAM:
  • 1-1/2 cup Whipping Cream
  • 1/2 cups Maple Syrup

Directions

    Combine water and molasses in a bowl and blend well.

    Mix pancakes, cinnamon, and ginger in a large bowl. Add the molasses mixture and stir.

    Heat a buttered griddle or large nonstick skillet over medium heat.

    Pour 3 tablespoons of batter at a time onto the hot griddle. Cook for 4-5 minutes until puffed and light brown, turning once.

    For the Whipping Cream:

    Whip the cream and then fold in the maple syrup. Serve over pancakes. If you don't want to include this step, the pancakes are still amazing with warm or cool syrup.
