- 9 large beaten eggs
- 1 1/2 c. granulated sugar
- 3 c. light corn syrup
- 1 Tbsp. vanilla extract
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. ground cinnamon
- 3/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
- 1/2 c. melted butter or margarine
- 3 c. chopped pecans
- 3 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
- 3 (9-inch) unbaked pie shells
Directions

1Combine eggs, syrup, sugar, vanilla and salt; mix well.

2Blend spices with melted butter; add to egg mixture.

3Mix well.

4Combine pecans with flour; stir into egg mixture.

5Turn into pastry shells.

6Bake in a 400° oven for 15 minutes.

7Reduce heat to 350° and continue to bake for 40 minutes or until knife comes out clean.

8Makes 3 (9-inch) pies.
