- 2 1/2 c. pecan halves (10 oz.)
- base:
- 1 T. water
- 1 T. honey
- 1 t. oil
- spice mix:
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 t. ginger
- 1 t. cinnamon
- 1/8 t. cayenne
- 1/2 t. salt
Directions

1To toast pecans, spread on baking sheet and place in 325 oven for 15 minutes. Set aside. Combine spice mix in a bowl and set aside. Combine base mix in a saucepan and heat to boiling. Add nuts and stir until completely coated and no moisture remains in pan. Remove from heat quickly and toss with spice mix until coated. Spread on baking paper and allow to dry 2-3 hours.
