- 2 crust pie shells
- 8 large tart apples, sliced thin
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
- 1 tsp. lemon juice
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp. salt
Directions

1Fill pie shell with sliced apples.

2Mix sugar, spices, salt and lemon juice and sprinkle over the apples.

3Dot with butter. Moisten pie crust edges with water.

4Fit top crust over the apples and seal the edges of the pie.

5Bake at 425° for 30 to 40 minutes. Make sure you cut slits in the top of the top pie crust.
