- 16 oz. any type pasta
- 8 oz. bacon
- 1 large onion
- 2 tsp. olive oil
- 2 tsp. dried pepper flakes
- 1 (28 oz.) can peeled tomatoes
Directions

1Heat the oil and cook bacon.

2Cut into 1-inch strips.

3When bacon is crispy, transfer to paper towel to drain.

4Discard half of bacon drippings.

5Saute onion in remaining fat until tender. After mashing tomatoes, add onion with pepper flakes.

6Simmer 5 to 10 minutes.

7Cook and drain pasta.

8Serve sauce over pasta, topped with bacon.

9Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
