  • 4 or 5 large, fresh carrots, cut in julienne strips
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine, cut in pieces

    Place carrots, sugar, salt and cinnamon in 1-quart casserole. Toss to combine.

    Dot with butter.

    Microwave 7 to 8 minutes on High or until carrots are tender-crisp.
