Spicy Mayo Poke

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs Ahi Tuna (sushi grade)
  • 6 T Japanese mayo (I use kewpie)
  • 3 T Sriracha sauce
  • 3 T Asian sweet chili sauce (I use Trader Joes)
  • 3 t Sesame oil
  • 2-3 T Tobiko or Masago
  • White sesame seeds
  • Black sesame seeds
  • 1/4 Yellow onion (sliced very thin)
  • 2 Green onions (sliced very thin)
  • 1-3 Avocado (cubed)
  • Prepared Japanese white rice

    1. Prepare rice and keep warm

    2. Cube Ahi

    3. Mix mayo, sriracha, sweet chili sauce, sesame oil, and tobiko.

    3. To serve, add some sauce to a serving of ahi (4-6 oz of fish). Mix well. I like a lot of sauce. Lay that spicy ahi on about a cup of Japanese rice. Top with sesame seeds, onion, green onion, and avocado to taste.
