- 2 cups sliced mushrooms (2 4 oz cans)
- 1 cup thinly sliced onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 12 teaspoon red chili powder
- 14 teaspoon cumin seed
- 14 teaspoon cumin powder
- 12 teaspoon coriander powder
- 12 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 14 teaspoon thymol seeds (optional)
- 1 pinch asafetida powder
- 1 teaspoon chopped cilantro
- 1 teaspoon oil
- salt
Directions

1Heat the oil.

2Add cumin seeds, thymol seeds, asafoetida,onions and cilantro.

3Fry for 3-4 minutes.

4Add the mushrooms.

5Add the remaining spices.

6Cook till the mushrooms are sort of fried - about 10 minutes.

7Serve with rotis.

8** I used the canned mushrooms.

9So, in case you are using fresh ones, you might have to add a little water.
