  • 8 slices bacon, cut in small pieces
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1/4 c. flour
  • 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
  • 4 c. milk
  • 10 3/4 oz. chicken broth
  • 2/3 c. potato flakes
  • 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 9 oz. pkg. frozen chopped spinach

    Fry bacon; remove from pan.

    Add onions; saute.

    Sprinkle with flour and nutmeg.

    Stir until smooth.

    Add milk, potato flakes and chicken broth.
