- 1 pkg. fresh spinach
- 1 c. rice
- 2 to 3 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 small can tomato sauce
- dash of dill
- salt and pepper to taste
- 4 to 5 cans water
Directions

1Wash spinach; trim stems and discard.

2Chop spinach into small pieces.

3Saute onion in olive oil until transparent.

4Add spinach to olive oil and onion; cook until spinach softens.

5Add tomato sauce, dill, salt, pepper and rice.

6Add the water.

7After it boils, lower heat to simmer.

8Check to see that water is not absorbed too quickly.

9If so, add another can until rice cooks.
