Spinach Balls

Ingredients

  • 2 boxes frozen chopped spinach
  • 2 c. Pepperidge Farm bread dressing
  • 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tsp. thyme
  • 1 Tbsp. Accent
  • 2 onions
  • 6 eggs, beaten
  • 3/4 c. melted margarine
  • 1 tsp. garlic salt
  • 1 tsp. black pepper
  • ripe tomatoes

Directions

    Cook spinach as directed; drain.

    Add remaining ingredients and mix thoroughly.

    Refrigerate for an hour.

    Using an ice cream scoop, form balls and place on a flat pan.

    Freeze; store in a plastic bag until ready to bake and serve.

    Place frozen balls on thick tomato slices and bake, uncovered, for 25 minutes at 350°. Makes 24 balls.
