Ingredients

  • 2 pkg. frozen chopped spinach, cooked, drained and reserve liquid
  • 4 Tbsp. margarine
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/2 c. spinach juice
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 3 oz. Velveeta cheese
  • 3 oz. Velveeta hot or medium Mexican cheese
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. dried onion
  • 1/2 tsp. salt and pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. celery salt
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • dash of cayenne pepper

Directions

    Melt oleo and add flour, spinach juice, milk and onion.

    Cook until thick.

    Add seasonings and cheese.

    Stir over low heat until cheese melts.

    Add spinach.

    Set in the refrigerator 6 hours or overnight.

    Bake uncovered 25 to 30 minutes at 350°.
