- 1 pkg. frozen chopped spinach
- 2 slices bread
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 3 Tbsp. melted butter or margarine
- 1 can mushroom soup
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- dash of garlic salt
- 1 1/2 c. grated sharp cheese
Directions

1Cook the spinach in 1/2 cup water until tender and drain thoroughly. Add soup, egg and cheese and mix well.

2Pour into greased 1 1/2-quart casserole.

3Cube the bread and toss with butter and garlic salt.

4Place on spinach mixture.

5Bake at 350° for 1 hour.

6Makes 6 servings.
