- 16 oz. carton cottage cheese
- 1 tsp. Italian seasoning
- 1 egg
- 10 oz. pkg. frozen chopped spinach
- 32 oz. jar spaghetti sauce
- 16 oz. pkg. lasagna noodles
- 1 lb. Mozzarella cheese, grated
- 1/2 to 3/4 c. water
Directions

1Mix cottage cheese and seasoning together.

2Beat in egg.

3Thaw and thoroughly drain spinach.

4Add to cottage cheese mixture; mix well.

5Set aside.

6In bottom of 10 x 14-inch glass baking dish spread thin layer spaghetti sauce.

7Layer with 1/3 of dry noodles, 1/3 cottage cheese mixture, 1/3 grated cheese.

8Pour 1/3 of remaining spaghetti sauce over all.

9Repeat layers 2 more times, ending with grated cheese.

10Set aside 60 to 75 minutes before baking.

11When ready to bake, pour water around edges.

12Bake at 325° for 1 hour.

13Let stand in warm place 10 to 15 minutes before serving.
