  • 2 pkg. frozen chopped spinach
  • 4 Tbsp. butter
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup evaporated milk
  • 1/2 cup vegetable liquor
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper
  • 3/4 tsp. celery salt
  • 3/4 tsp. garlic salt
  • salt to taste
  • 6-oz. roll jalapeno cheese
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • hot sauce to taste

Directions

    Cook spinach according to package directions; drain and reserve liquid.

    Melt butter and add flour, stirring until smooth. Add onion and cook until soft.

    Add liquid and stir to avoid lumps.

    Cook until smooth and until melted.

    Combine with spinach. Place in casserole and top with buttered crumbs.
