- 1 (10 ounce) package frozen chopped spinach
- 5 chicken bouillon cubes
- 5 cups boiling water
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 3/4 cup green onion, sliced
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
Directions

1In a pot dissolve 1 bouillon cube in 1 cup boiling water.

2Add frozen spinach, cook until done.

3Drain spinach, reserving liquid.

4In a frying pan combine butter, onions and garlic.

5Cook slowly for 10 minutes.

6Add spinach.

7Cook, stirring constantly, for 3 minutes.

8Add spinach liquid.

9In a bowl dissolve remaining bouillon cubes in remaining boiling water.

10Add mixture to pot.

11Add pepper and salt.

12Bring to a boil.

13Reduce heat.

14Cook for 15 minutes longer.

15Garnish with nutmeg.
