Spinach Quiche

  • 1 lb. pkg. frozen spinach
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 pt. whipping cream
  • dash of Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • dash of pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. tarragon (optional)
  • 1 tsp. parsley flakes
  • 1 1/2 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese (other shredded cheese can be used)
  • 1 (9-inch) pie crust

Directions

    Thaw spinach in medium bowl. Add eggs, whipping cream, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, tarragon and parsley flakes. Beat slightly.

    Place crust in a 9-inch pie plate or pan.

    Place spinach along the bottom.

    Sprinkle cheese on top of spinach. Pour egg mixture over spinach and cheese.

    Bake at 400° for 20 to 25 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
