  • pie shell
  • 1 can (small) mushrooms
  • 1/2 c. spinach
  • salt, pepper, nutmeg
  • 1/4 c. grated cheese
  • 3 eggs
  • cream
  • butter or oleo

    Prebake pie shell 10 to 12 minutes at 375°.

    Saute mushrooms and 1/2 cup spinach in butter.

    Add salt, pepper and nutmeg. Blend 1/4 cup grated cheese and 3 eggs.

    Add enough cream to make about 1 1/2 to 2 cups.

    Pour in pie shell.

    Sprinkle with grated cheese.

    Dot with butter.

    Bake 1/2 hour at 375°.
