Spinach Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. fresh spinach
  • 1/2 c. cooking oil
  • 1/2 c. vinegar
  • dash of garlic powder
  • dash of salt
  • dash of freshly ground pepper
  • 1 coddled egg *
  • 3 slices cooked, crisp bacon, diced
  • 1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 c. croutons
  • dash of Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 large fresh mushrooms, sliced

Directions

    After washing spinach thoroughly, dry each leaf with paper towels.

    Place in large salad bowl.

    Toss with oil and vinegar. Add garlic powder, salt and pepper.

    Toss gently, adding egg. Toss with bacon, cheese, croutons and Worcestershire sauce. Garnish with sliced mushrooms.
