  • 1 c. salad oil
  • 1/3 c. catsup
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1/2 c. vinegar
  • 2/3 c. sugar
  • dash of salt
  • 2 bunches fresh spinach, washed
  • 1/2 lb. fresh bean sprouts
  • 1 (15 oz.) can sliced water chestnuts*
  • 6 to 8 slices bacon, fried crisp and crumbled
  • 2 hard-cooked eggs, chopped

Directions
