- 4 slices white bread
- 4 eggs
- 2 c. milk
- 1 c. diced Cheddar cheese
- 1 (No. 3) can chopped spinach (drain)
- 3/4 tsp. salt
Directions

1Trim crusts from bread.

2Cut into cubes.

3Butter 1 1/2-quart souffle dish.

4Layer half the bread crumbs in bottom of baking dish.

5Cover with half the diced cheese and half the spinach. Repeat, using remaining bread cheese and spinach.

6Beat eggs with fork.

7Add milk and salt.

8Pour over layered ingredients.

9Bake at 325° for 35 to 40 minutes.

10Makes large souffle.
