- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, chopped
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh dill
- 15 ounces tomato sauce
- 10 ounces frozen spinach, thawed
- 12 cup water
- salt and pepper
Directions

1Saute onions in oil.

2Add garlic and dill to saucepan and continue to saute for two minutes.

3Add tomato sauce and bring to a boil.

4Simmer for 10 minutes on low heat.

5Add spinach and water, then bring to a boil again.

6Cover and simmer on low heat for 15 minutes.

7Serve warm over cooked rice.
