  • 12 lb softened margarine
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 4 eggs
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 cups sifted all purpose flour

Directions

    In a large bowl, place margarine, sugar, cinnamon and essence and cream for about 15 minutes until fluffy.

    Add eggs one at a time, then stir in the baking powder.

    Fold in flour.

    Pre heat oven to 350 degrees.

    Grease an eight or nine inch cake pan and then dust lightly with a little flour.

    Pour batter into pan and bake for 40 minutes or until middle springs back and the sides leave the pan.

    (a little trick insert a tooth pick into cake and if it comes out clean it is done).

    Let cool thoroughly in pan and then remove.
