- 1 c. corn meal
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. cold milk
- 2 c. hot milk
- 2 eggs
- 2 Tbsp. melted butter
Directions

1Mix corn meal and salt; combine with cold milk and stir until smooth.

2Add to hot milk and cook until thickened (about 5 minutes, stirring constantly).

3Beat eggs; add small amount of cooked mixture; blend, then add remainder of cooked mixture and butter. Pour into greased 1 1/2-quart casserole and bake in a moderate oven at 350° for 50 minutes or until done.

4Makes 6 servings.
