  • 4 c. self-rising flour
  • 1 envelope yeast
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 3/4 c. Crisco or 1 1/2 sticks margarine, melted
  • 2 c. warm water
  • 1 egg

Directions

    Mix dry ingredients.

    Cut in Crisco.

    Add egg and water.

    Mix well.

    Put in refrigerator in covered container.

    Use as needed. Will keep for several days.

    Spoon into greased muffin tins and bake.
