- 1 pt. sweet milk
- 6 Tbsp. margarine
- 1 c. corn meal
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 3 eggs, room temperature, separated
Directions

1Scald milk (do not boil).

2Stir in margarine, cornmeal and salt.

3Cook, stirring constantly, until cornmeal comes away from sides of pan and thickens.

4Set aside.

5Cool to lukewarm.

6Add beaten egg yolks and mix well.

7Fold in beaten egg white. Mix gently but thoroughly. Pour into a greased, floured baking dish. Bake at 375° for 1 hour.
