- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 2 c. warm water
- 1 1/2 sticks butter, melted
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 egg, beaten
- 4 c. self-rising flour
Directions

1Place yeast in 2 cups warm, not hot, water.

2Melt butter; add sugar in a large bowl.

3Add beaten egg and dissolved yeast mixture.

4Add flour and stir until thoroughly mixed.

5To cook, drop by spoonfuls into well-greased 2 1/2-inch muffin tins and bake at 400° for about 20 minutes or until browned.
