- 1 envelope dry yeast
- 2 Tbsp. warm water
- 2 c. warm water
- 3/4 c. oil
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 egg, beaten
- 4 c. self-rising flour
Directions

1Dissolve the yeast in 2 tablespoons warm water. Add the 2 cups water, oil, sugar and egg.

2Mix ingredients well.

3Gradually add flour, continuing to mix well.

4Spoon into greased muffin tins and bake at 400° for 15 to 20 minutes.

5Batter will keep for 3 to 4 days.

6Makes 2 dozen.
